Emergency Support

• Help individuals locate loved ones after a crisis

• Assistance to access emergency food and/or emergency supplies, and referrals in times of need

Community Resource Guidance Assist residents with:

• Enrolling in Meals on Wheels

• Connecting with CHEER and other senior service organizations

• Accessing services through the Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD)

• Signing up for Smart911

Outreach and Advocacy

• Act as a liaison between the Helping Hands Committee and the Angola Response Team

• Promote emergency preparedness, community safety, and access to resources

• Encourage participation in programs that support elderly and vulnerable residents
